Its main application is at the sub-national or Local Government level, where LGA health management teams can use the results of the SAM in conjunction with WHO's HealthMapper application, developed by the Public Health Mapping and GIS programme, to map and monitor health services. It also asks about the availability of specific resources such as water, telephones and radios.\n\nSection 2: General purpose equipment section explores the availability of specific health-related resources.\n\nSection 3: Injection and sterilization equipment section asks about the main types of injection equipment used in this facility\n\nSection 4: Human resources section of the qustionnaire ask about the human resources available in the facility\n\nSection 5: Trained staff section asks about the number of staff in the facility that have received training in a number of specific interventions.\n\nSection 6: Drugs and commodities section of the questionnaire asks about the availability of specific drugs and commodities in the facilities. These are yes or no questions.\n\nSection 7: Lab tests section asks about the availability of epecific laboratory tests in the facility.
