The average retail price per litre of Household Kerosene (HHK) paid by consumers in June 2025 was N2,192.63, show
ing an increase of 0.80% compared to N2,175.29 recorded in May 2025. On a year-on-year basis, the average retail
price per litre of the product rose by 41.00% from N1,555.11 in June 2024.
On state profile analysis, the highest average price per litre in June 2025 was recorded in Kaduna with N2681.58, fol
lowed by Delta with N2,580.64 and Edo with N2,580.41. On the other hand, the lowest price was recorded in Abia
with N1,659.35, followed by Oyo with N1,766.12 and Bayelsa with N1,796.46.
In addition, analysis by zone showed that the South-South recorded the highest average retail price per litre of
Household Kerosene with N2,336.69, followed by the North-West with N2,238.71, while the South-West recorded
the lowest with N2,065.38.
The average retail price per gallon of Household Kerosene paid by consumers in June 2025 was N8,684.15 indicating
an increase of 2.38% from N8,482.22 in May 2025. On a year-on-year basis, this increased by 52.39% from N5,698.68
in June 2024.
On state profile analysis, Edo recorded the highest average retail price per gallon of Household Kerosene with
N10,321.63, followed by Delta with N9,850.00 and Kebbi with N9,723.15. On the other hand, Abia recorded the low
est price with N6,737.40, followed by Oyo and Bayelsa with N7,064.48 and N7,185.83 respectively.
Analysis by zone showed that the South-South recorded the highest average retail price per gallon of Household Ker
osene with N9,103.18, followed by the North-East with N8,884.45, while the South-West recorded the lowest with
N8,261.53. |
