The SDGs tracking report aims to provide insight into Nigeria’s progress in
achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and streamline
our national data as reported by different government and international
organisations. As we strive to foster inclusive growth and development, this
report consolidates data from various governmental and international
sources, highlighting our advancements and challenges in fulfilling the 17
SDGs. In addition, the Report is considered a reference for decision-makers
and various development policymakers, which would guide them in
determining the measures required to make progress in reporting sustainable
development and prepare various National Development Plans. This Report
has seventeen thematic chapters, each chapter contains a comprehensive
and detailed evaluation of Nigeria’s coverage and tracking of the UN
approved Agenda 2030's 17 goals, 169 targets, and 231 indicators. However,
some of the reported years have gaps, but data have been collected and
reported across the goals.
