This Module contains data on Women's characteristics, Child Mortality, Tetanus Toxoid, Maternal and Newborn Health, Marriage, Polygyny, Female Genital Cutting, Contraception, and HIV/AIDS Knowledge, with optional modules for Unmet Need, Domestic Violence, and Sexual Behavior.

This module contains information about under five children (0-59 months) Age, Birth Registration, Early Childhood Development, Breastfeeding and Dietary Intake, Immunization care of Illness and Anthropometry.

This section contains information about women between age 15 -49 Birth History whether alive or not starting with the first born to the last.

This module contains information about men between age 15 through 49 with regards to their Background, Access to Information and Technology, Attitudes toward Domestic Violence, Marriage, Sexual Behaviour, HIV/AIDS, Circumcision, Tobacco and Alcohol Use and Life Satisfication.

This dataset contains data on Basic Demographic Information on all the household members (usual residents), Household Characteristics, Education, Selection of one child for Child Labour/Discipline.

The CH dataset contains information on child related indicators. In the MICS dataset, the CH dataset contains responses for children aged below 5 years and includes responses on the immunisation status of children aged 12 to 36 months. the CH dataset from the NICS (supplemental EA) contains information on children’s demographic and immunisation status for children aged 12 to23 months. The child dataset has 29,335 observations and 154 variables.

HH dataset contains information on households and characteristics of the households including asset ownership, the situation of access to water and sanitation and iodine testing in salt. HH data collected from supplemental EAs, contains all the information besides information on salt testing. A single observation in the HH dataset represents a household. Information on water quality testing and salt iodine testing is only available for observations collected from the core (MICS) EAs. The household dataset comprises of 42,981 observations (households) and 173 variables.

HL dataset contains information on the household roster including the names, ages gender and relationship between all persons within a selected household. The HL dataset is extracted from responses of the household questionnaire. Each observation represents information on a single individual. The household listing dataset is made up of 200,226 observations and 48 variables.
